Markus Frind of Vancouver, Canada wanted to practice his programming skills in ASP.NET. So he launched a free online dating website called www.plentyoffish.com. The site required member ship area, password protection, database management and a lot of programming skills and Markus thought that it would a good learning experience for him. At that point of time Markus didn't know that he could make money from his site, all he wanted to do was learn some new programming skills.
