This book is a better guide on making a Niche Website than it is on Google Adsense. Still it does talk about Google Adsense but not in a great detail and you are unlikely to find anything new about Adsense in this book. However this book is one of the tutorial on finding a Niche Topic for your website/blog. And at the end of the day it's the topic/subject of your blog that plays the most important role in determining the amount of money that you can make from your site.
